School Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975
The Pleasant Hill School, also known as the Little Red School House, was built in 1881. The school closed in 1957. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2010, the old hoop on the front of the structure indicated that basketball was played during recess at the old schoolhouse on US 65 three mile north of Lineville on US 65.
