Mount Shepherd Lodge #159 was constituted in 1955. The lodge practices in the Canadian ritual work and meets on the first Wednesday of each month except for July and August.

In 1955, when Knox Presbyterian Church needed a new building, they moved this building from 2110 Church Road to its current location and built a new one.
