I recovered this Klamath County Surveyor section corner from 1965 in good condition.

To get to this boundary mark, you'll need to take a right, off of US97, just past Hagelstein Park, onto NF-9718 road, which climbs steeply and continue following the winding road which becomes NF-9714 and to the boundary mark, which is off the road a short distance to the right. There are three property mark signs: two metal, one orange fiberglass, nearby the survey mark as well as a bearing tree to the rear of the survey mark. Attached pictures will clearly show what you will come upon, if you decide to log this waymark.

The survey mark was set on 8-31-65. The bearing tree was signed on 4/65 by D Hill. Both markers were a neat discovery while geocaching nearby.

A large bearing tree with a notched out vertical line and spray painted red as well as two metal plaques designating the tree as a bearing tree exist about 15 ft NE from the survey mark. There are also three property mark signs surrounding the survey mark.
