[DE:]Grundsteinlegung dieser Kapelle war im Jahre 1945. Eingeweiht wurde sie am 15. Oktober 1947. Anlass zum Bau der Kapelle war ein Gelübde aus dem Jahre 1944, da der Ort vom Krieg weitgehend verschont wurde.
Die Kapelle wurde oberhalb des Ortes auf dem Rennenberg errichtet. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich eine Marienstatue und die Statue eines betenden Soldaten stellt den Bezug zum Kriegsgeschehen her.
Neben des achteckigen Grundriss fällt diese Kapelle durch ihr Fresko in der Decke auf. Dieses wurde von dem Künstler Hans von Linprun gemalt. Der Altar in der Kapelle stammt aus der Zeit um 1670/80.
[EN:] The foundation stone of the chapel has been laid in 1945. It was inaugurated on 15 October, 1947. The construction of the chapel was initiated by a vow made in 1944, as the town was largely spared from destuction by the war.
The chapel has been built on a hill named Rennenberg near the village. Near by there is a statue of the Virgin Mary and the statue of a praying soldier creates the reference to war.
In addition to the octagonal ground plot remnarkable of this chapel is the fresco placed in the ceiling. This was painted by the artist Hans von Linprun. The altar in the chapel dates from the period around 1670 / 80th.
