Pavement at southern walls of Melnik Chateau, 60 m above the Elbe river valley, offers a great vista over confluence of main Czech rivers Labe (Elbe) and Vltava (Moldau) and surrounding landscape of the Central Bohemia region.

The pavement and small square (pedestrian zone) in the front of neighbouring Ss. Peter and Paul Church, equipped by benches and coin-op binocular, are both freely accessible (24/365).
