This horse is named "Galloping Through the Sycamore Leaves" and stands just inside the food court in the Hulman Memorial Student Union Building on the campus of Indiana State University. This building is at the corner of 5th & Chestnut streets. The artist's name is Jacquelyn Smith and the sponsor of the artwork is Indiana State University. The statue was created in approximately 2007 and is designed with the sycamore leaf logo of the university.

Background Story: My husband and I enjoy eating lunch on campus anytime we are in Terre Haute. Being an avid horse lover, I have admired this beautiful horse for years. It's a pleasure being able to add it as a waymark. :)
