The boundaries of Cape Town extend far beyond the city hub, and includes Maiden's Cove, which is between Clifton's Beaches and Glen Beach, still within sight of Table Mountain. Maiden's Cove also boasts great views of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range (weather permitting). The beach is on the Atlantic Ocean, meaning the water is cold year around.
TIDBIT:
A portion of the Hollywood move "Dark Tide" (2012) starring Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez, was shot in Maiden's Cove.
