Chateau from the 1st half of the 18th century. In 1901 it was reconstructed in pseudo-Baroque style by industrialist Gaston Malmann.

Today, no one would probably think that, in the premises of the former chateau were imprisoned a leaders of the Czechoslovak episcopate.

In the premises of this house were imprisoned at the time of the Communist dictatorship during 20th century a members of the Czech and Slovak episcopate:
Cardinal Josef Beran, Archbishop of Prague
Mons. Karel Skoupý, Bishop of Brno
Mons. Josef Hlouch, Bishop of Ceské Budejovice
Mons. Robert Pious, Bishop of Rožnava
Their instructions were imprisoned here and nuns:
S. M. Zdislava (Marie) Benesova
S. M. Fides (Karolina) Dostalova.
