This may not be the biggest bridge in the world, but as an arch bridge it successfully supports pedestrians and cyclists as they pass over a small stream.

Lister Park is one of Bradford’s largest parks, and in 2006 it was given the prestigious award of Britain’s Best Park, and was also nominated for Best Park in Europe.

On the Northern side of the park is a landscaped garden area with streams and an artificial waterfall. At this point the stream leads away from the waterfall and passes under the bridge supporting the public path. From here the stream feeds the boating lake.

One side of the bridge has a rather pointed arch compared to the other side.
