According to the exhibit, this jail was build in 1865 and used as a temporary holding place until prisoners could be transferred to the county jail. Only two cells are a part of this jail.

September 3 - October 27 Tuesday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Closed Mondays (except Memorial Day and Labor Day, which are open 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)


Fees?:
Admission to the historic village is required. Admission to the village rates are $15.00 for adults, $8.00 for children ages 6-16, and under 6 are free.
