From an article in the local paper: The statue was donated by Gail Kellogg, who graduated from the school in 1965. She describes the piece as "very human and approachable" and says it was installed on her front porch in Colorado. Officials at the alumni association say they expect the sculpture will be a popular spot for photographs, particularly during graduation ceremonies in the spring. His famous hat is upturned in his lap and he's holding notes for his second inaugural address. The alumni center is — appropriately enough — on Lincoln Avenue.
