Mušlovka is an abandoned limestone quarry, which is located in the valley of Dalejsky potok in Prague. Mining in the quarry was closed in 1930.
It is possible to see here the cross-section of the geological layers reveals forms of the upper Silurian period and also it is possible to find here a variety of fossils such as cephalopods, bivalves, brachiopods and trilobites.
The name Mušlovka is derived from abundantly found fossils, resembling shells (in fact, in the present case, it is usually the bivalves or brachiopods).
