Located on the shores of Mille Lacs Lake (Minnesota's third largest lake) from the early decades of the 20th Century. The Indian Trading Post began in approximately 1920 and was a general store of sorts, also offering gasoline, guided fishing trips, rental cabins. Now part of the Minnesota Historical Society and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe's museum, the original gas pumps still stand where they have for decades. Offering Red Crown and White Crown gasoline, this setting is like going back in time.
