Obora Holedná

Mezi sídlišti Jundrov, Kohoutovice a Bystrc se nachází jedinecná prírodní lokalita obora Holedná. Jedná se o úcelové myslivecké zarízení sloužící obornímu chovu mufloní a dancí zvere. Tato obora je svým umístením uprostred velkého mesta naprosto výjimecná, protože zejména deti z mest nemají tolik príležitostí videt na vlastní oci život divoké zvere a v Brne tuto zver mohou pozorovat denne.

Soucástí je i malá oburka s divocáky a nekolik jezírek. Oborou vede znacená naucná stezka s informacemi o chované zveri. Odpocinkové altány i posezení slouží k relaxaci obyvatel z blízkého i vzdálenejšího okolí. Hlavní zpevnené cesty umožnují i kondicní sportovní vyžití.

Game preserve Holedná is fenced in forest complex among residential areas Jundrov, Bystrc and Kohoutovice. The total area is approx. 330 hectares and it creates unique environment on the outskirts of Brno which is suitable not only for breeding game - fallow deer, mouflon and wild boar, but also for leisure time of people living nearby.
