The pathway & its donated pavers are an initiative of the Berry-Gerringong Rotary Club. The club is sponsoring a community project called The Rotary Circuit which will see inter-connecting cement pathways from Berry to the hospital & then south to the town limits before returning to the town centre.

David Berry Hospital has a rehabilitation unit & a hospice so some of these pavers would honour former patients.
