From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally N on Pine Street for 4.0 miles. Turn left on FR2058-900 and continue for 1.5 miles to a locked gate. Turn right and walk along the fence line about 210' to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 12' W of a narrow dirt road and 55' W of the end of an E-W section of very substantial three-rail, wood fence. A Carsonite witness post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals is broken off and lying on the ground. In addition, there are two bearing trees with yellow tags. The nearer one has a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the reverse side.
What property is this mark defining?:
Only the land SE of the corner is National Forest, all else is private property.
