"Gracelawn is the final resting place for a few people of note. Our most recent internment was Van Buren's beloved former Mayor John Riggs, as well as that of former Mayor Allan Ray Toothaker and several well known life long residents that helped make Van Buren the city it is today including beloved John Garner.
Gracelawn has ample room for many years to come and is maintained free of charge. Gracelawn is also a state sanctioned perpetual care cemetery.
Our current staff includes that of Les Toothaker, Manager & Ronald Dean Metheny, Grounds Keeper.
All our graves are hand dug by Arlis Nuckolls who has been digging graves all over Crawford county and the surrounding area for over 25 years and Mr. Nuckolls, believe it or not is well over 70 years old. All service committals are conducted at our arbor with convenient parking and a public restroom."
