The early 12th century Anglican church of St Katharine is located on the north west side of Main Road in Knockholt. The main part of the graveyard lies to the west of the church with some graves to the east and the war memorial to the south.

The graveyard is well maintained and appears to still be in use without being over crowded.

Sir Waldron Smithers was an MP and is buried in the graveyard. The inscription on his memorial cross:

His wife is interred in the same plot.
