Flowers on Stripes - San Jose, California - Artistically Decorated Utility Boxes on Waymarking.com

This pair of utility boxes has many colorful horizontal stripes. Both boxes started with the fuzzy stripes, like the smaller utility box has. The the stripes on the larger box were sharpened up to straight lines, probably using painters tape.

I suspect these boxes may under go further changes, and since I'm in this neighborhood frequently, I will keep an eye on them for future changes.

UPDATE February 24, 2014 - After many trips by this box, its final design seems to have stabilize. The original stripes have had flower on the large box and pink flowers on the smaller box painted on top of the original stripes. New pictures have been uploaded. The original pictures have been left in the gallery to show the progression of development.
