This is a typical abandoned cemetery in a shocking state of disrepair. There is no entrance for either car or human. One must park along the side of the gravel road, then crawl under the barbwire fence, as I did, to visit the cemetery. According to FindAGrave there were 12 interments recorded in Packwood Cemetery. Whilst the oldest was in 1851, there are 3 graves from the same Civil War day of 20 March 1863. There are other graves that are not legible at all, making a total of perhaps 21 graves.
Earliest Burial: 10/20/1851

Latest Burial: 06/16/1925
