While visiting the Castlegar Fire Hall to see their vintage trucks, we were kindly allowed by the Fire Chief to photograph all their equipment. He didn't have to make the offer twice.

This tender is Castlegar's oldest active piece of equipment, a 1993 1993 International S. It once belonged to Selkirk College in Castlegar. When the fire department acquired it they mounted the tank and repainted it Fire Engine Red, adding their signage and logo.
The department already has plans to replace this one with a newer and larger tender.
