This nicely maintained beach is located at a high mountain lake in the center of town at Green Valley Lake.

The beach is large enough to handle quite a crowd. At one time the beach area was about twice as large but willow trees have encroached on the north shore of the lake and are thes nesting place of an endangered species of bird. The willows can't be disturbed so half the former beach is now a nesting area.
