The border crossing on US Highway 54 is via the Champ Clark Bridge. The Champ Clark Bridge was built in 1928. It is a narrow 20-foot wide two lane bridge. The bridge is five-span truss bridge, 2,286.4 feet in length. The bridge is scheduled for retirement and replacement sometimes in the next ten years.
