Longtime residents of Salem and the Pacific Northwest remember Pietro's, which had a large number of locations in their famous red and white buildings. And while that chain has made a mini-comeback with a handful of spots, evidently this building is in one of their former locations.

Donatello's features thin-crust pizza. They have a good-sized salad bar stocked with fresh vegetables and other items such as macaroni, potato and bean salads, cottage cheese and pudding. If you go during the lunch hour you can enjoy all-you-can eat pizza and salad for about $7.00. I would say their pizza is above average for Salem.
