Berrima is well known for its colonial history & is popular with tourists. This playground would in turn be very popular with their children. The central attraction is a modular play area in the form of a castle. The castle has various rope climbs, a slide, bars, a rope bridge, turrets & a small rock climbing wall. There is a set of swings with one a modern version of the old suspended truck tyre I recall.
The more adventurous can give the flying fox (zip line) a go, either by sitting on the seat or just hanging on. There are two rockers & to recover, a filtered water outlet. Shady seating for parents is provided.
The base of the playground is soft, shredded bark to cushion any falls.
