There are many fine exotic trees in this park with one in particular (an English Oak) planted in 1890 by the father of Australian Federation, Sir Henry Parkes. There are picnic tables, an old shelter shed, filtered water, historic dated stones formerly part of a bridge built in 1836, an impressive playground, amenities & shade. The grass is sparse as would be expected at the end of Winter.
There is no sign with the park's name. On the day of my visit I circumnavigated the park but to no avail. I researched the play equipment & the manufacturer mentioned the name of the park.
I took the co-ordinates from the main entrance which is where the dated stones sit.
