The Kenai Fjords Tours is part of the CIRI Alaska Tour Company. They offer several packages. The National Park Tour is a 6 hour tour that visits the Kenai National Park.

There are 3 tours each day. The 8 am and 11:30 am tours are 6 hours while the 10 am tour is 8.5 hours. The tour leaves from the small boat harbor in Seward and heads out into Resurrection Bay and stops for any wildlife. A wildlife guide is provided so you can keep a record of the animals you see. The boats captain narrates the tour. Once the boat enters the Gulf of Alaska, the sea can get a little rough. If you are prone to motion sickness, it would be best to take precautions before leaving the dock. The boat then heads west to Aialik Bay. There are two tidewater glaciers that meet the sea in Aialik Bay. The boat will visit one of the two glaciers. The skipper cuts the engine so you can listen to the glacier and watch for the glacier to calve. The boat the returns to Seward by a different route for the chance to spot more wild life.
Tickets may be purchased in Seward, on-line or at an office in Anchorage.

Parking in Seward is offsite on Port Ave at Alice St., a shuttle bus is available.

Rule ammendment as of 03-July-2008, you must have ridden on the boat ride to log a visit. Non-compliant visits prior to this date may be grandfathered at the discretion of the waymyark owner.
