The ring and the cube is a 304 by 426 by 198 cm granite, stainless steel and alumina cement sculpture in front of the Ecole de Technologie Superieure, Montréal.

A large insulated wire ring is leaning against a cement cube. The ring is cut away so that the wire is exposed at top and inner brown and outer black layers of insulation cover the remainder of the ring.

The sculpture was created by Roger Gaudreau in 2004.
