LEGACY: By the summer of 2018, the truss bridge had been replaced.

The Warren Truss bridge had hosted Trans-Canada Highway traffic since October 1961. It was the longest steel through truss bridge on all of Ontario provincial highway 17. There was a single continuous truss across three spans and two piers. The bridge rises 40 metres above the river.

For safer parking on the shoulder of the highway, there is much more room on the south side of the road to pull off.

Thank you to deggar for technical assistance.

This waymark is a tribute to those who created and continue to maintain this bridge.
