Blasdell Fireman's Memorial Park features a well-equiped play structure, a large field with baseball diamonds, and a large picnic shelter. The play structure has room for many kids to climb, run, and slide. The structure is somewhat higher than most, and may not be well suited for toddler-aged children.
There is a large parking area adjacent to the playground. There are no washrooms or water fountains here. The picnic shelter is available on a rental basis, and therefore the playground, parking lot, and picnic shelter may be very busy at times.
For kids that love trains, this park is located between two sets of very busy railway tracks. Several trains passed by in the short time that we were at this park.
