The King of the Midway was originally produced as a part of the Pride Of Oshkosh. A fund-raiser which raised $414,803 for education and the arts in Oshkosh, WI during 2004. “The Pride of Oshkosh” produced 33 uniquely crafted, life-sized lions from fiberglass replicas of one of the two regal beasts that stand at the entrance to the Oshkosh Public Library. Each lion was sponsored by a business organization for $3,500.
The King of the Midway was sponsored by First Choice Insurance Agency and the Artist was Jim Fay of Future Look.
