Rune stone in the cemetery is the oldest written evidence of the
Christianity on Lolland. The stone sat at a certain moment
the church wall with the cross facing the church, where it was regis-
tered by the antiquary Ole Worm in 1627. Later lay it as part of the foundation of the porch on the south gable. When this was demolished in 1856, it was placed in the cemetery.
