In 1862 He built the Church of the Non-Conformists as a place to worship for Methodists, Baptists and other Christian denominations.
This building housed the chapel school, whilst the church itself which was next to it has been demolished.
It is located in the centre of the city of Bradford and these days houses
Gumption business centres.
It has serviced office spaces upstairs for small businesses to use during the day. Downstairs it has a bar and function rooms with regular events such as jazz nights and comedy nights.
