Baroque Chateau stands on the site of the fortress which was destroyed during the Hussite wars. Renaissance building was later rebuilt. In 1702, Maximilian Franz Želecký of Pocenice rebuilt this fort into Baroque Chateau. Since 1925 the building is owned by the state and later on belong to Prštice municipality. Today the building serves as the seat lock municipal office building, a post office and the surrounding park serves as kindergarten.
