Log Hauler at OC&E Woodsline State Trailhead - Klamath County, OR - Static Train Cars on Waymarking.com

This former log hauler is located along the OC&E Woods Line State Trail on the lower of two switchbacks (double switchback), a rare feature in railroad terms. I located a placard at one of the trailheads of this rails-to-trails trail which mentions this log hauler as being retired here after its brakes locked up during the removal of tracks in 1992. This train car represents one of many log haulers that would have carried thousands of board feet of lumber from one mill site to another. This log hauler is also a virtual geocache (link to it here), so just another reason to visit this train car.
