After organizing meetings at the old Church Tower on Jamestown Island, the newly formed mission met in rented facilities until it was able to build a multipurpose building on land provided by Bruton Parish. Their first service on their own land was held on Easter Day, 1964, which is the date used for the date built below. Over the years they have added to their campus and have several buildings. The sign is located at the driveway entrance leading to the parking area.

In their worship, they have three Sunday morning services, as described on the church web page:

"8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite I
This quiet, reverent service is perfect for those who have grown up in the Anglican tradition or who prefer a quieter, more contemplative approach to worship. Our Rite I liturgy is found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and features traditional language. This service is a spoken one, with no music, and includes Holy Communion and a homily.

9:15 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite III
This family-oriented service is for all members of the church with customized features to accommodate children. Our Rite III liturgy is found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and employs modern language. This service includes Holy Communion and a lay sermon.

11:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II
This contemporary-language service features organ, choir, traditional hymnody and rich Anglican liturgy. Our Rite II liturgy is found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and employs modern language. This service includes Holy Communion and a sermon. Prayers for healing with laying on of hands is offered at the chapel altar rail immediately following this service. Nursery care is available."
