The village of Huoshan and the whole Anhui province is the central starting point of what is known as the "Red Revolution", which took place in 1930, after in 1927 the Chinese Civil War started.
The relief art is in memory of the beginnings of the formation of the army in the region of Anhui province.
This relief art made from Bronze, setup during 2009, is located at the entrance of an information centre, which if freely available to the public.
Opening times are daily between 8.30 - 11.00 and 14.00 - 17.00.
