As one might expect this pub sign shows a man wearing a bowler hat carrying a rolled up umbrella and brief case.

There is also a surprise in the sign because this rather rotund city gent is wearing Bradford City football kit rather than a formal suit.
The design is actually based on the mascot of Bradford City Football Club, also called the City Gent. The mascot was originally inspired by the rotund figure of the then football club chairman Stafford Heginbotham.
The pub recently opened during 2013. The building was originally a bank called the Yorkshire Penny Bank and was built in 1895 but in recent times it became a pub. The pub had closed a few years ago and the building left closed the new pub opened.
As well as the pub sign the windows have been etched with the same City Gent character.
