Maurice, Count of Saxe (German: Moritz, Graf von Sachsen; French: Maurice de Saxe) (28 October 1696 – 20 November 1750) was a Saxon soldier in French service who became a Marshal and later also Marshal General of France.
He was buried in the Protestant Thomas Church in Strasbourg, where a grave monument was built for him by the French sculptor Jean-Baptiste Pigalle from 1765 to 1776.
