This half acre city park is between the Magnolia Hotel and the Old French Restaurant owned by Mary Mahoney. Her home and restaurant was built in 1737 and Mary purchased it in 1962 and ran it until her death in 1985. The park was named in her honor as a place to simply stroll down the walkway and relax in the park after enjoying a meal at the restaurant.
