This Victorian house, built around 1893, is a Stick-style two and one-half story structure that served as a personage for the German Methodist Episcopal Church. It was originally located at 774 Winter Street. But in the mid-1990s, the Capitol Mall expanded north and this house was moved to it's current location.

The original property on Winter Street was owned by R. P. Boise until it was sold to the German Methodist Episcopal Church in 1894. In the 1930s, William and Norma Place lived here. In 1944 the church sold the property to a carpenter named Charles Warren.
