The sculpture refers to the myth of the death of Balder, from Norse mythology. Loke transforms himself into the woman Tøk and tricks the blind Høder into shooting Balder. Loke must then make his escape and transforms himself into a salmon, in order to hide. On one side of the sculpture, Tor can be seen with his hammer, as he and the other gods finally catch Loke.

This granite sculpture was made in 2004 by local artist Jan Blik Pedersen.
