Aggersundbroen, en 210 m lang lavbro med et oplukkeligt midterfag konstrueret som et dobbelt klapfag med spændvidde på 30 m. Herudover består broen af to faste buefag i beton, hver med en spændvidde på 90 m. Broen blev indviet 18. juni 1942.
Under den tyske besættelse af Danmark fik broen strategisk betydning for tyskernes transporter af mandskab og materiel til og fra Norge. Derfor blev der i 1943-44 anlagt et militært støttepunkt omkring den bestående af 11 betonanlæg på nordsiden og 6 på sydsiden.
Der kørte ca. 6000 køretøjer over Aggersundbroen hvert døgn i 2002.
Aggersundbroen, a 210 m long low bridge with a moving 30 meter middle part. Besides the moving part, yhe bridge consists of two fixed bridgeparts in concrete, each with a span of 90 m. The bridge was inaugurated 18 juni 1942.
During the German occupation of Denmark the bridge was of strategic importance to the Germans transport of personnel and supplies to and from Norway. Therefore, in 1943-44 a military base around it, consisting of 11 concrete plant on the north side and 6 on the south side was build.
More than 6000 vehicles crossed Aggersundbroen each day during a traffic counting in 2002.
