This school was established in 1838. The building was sometimes used as a church, which explains why it is next to a large historic cemetery (which has a Revolutionary War soldier buried therein). There are two brick outhouses behind the school a ways (his and hers), and a nice big hand-operated pump on the front porch.

This is a beautiful place to visit with a lot of history.
