This statue of Frank O'Bannon is placed on the square in Corydon, IN. It is O'Bannon's hometown. O'Bannon is a former Lieutenant Governor and also the Governor of the state of Indiana.
O'Bannon was the 47th Governor in the state from his election in 1997 until his death in 2003. He also spent 8 years under Evan Bayh's Governorship from 1989 to 1997.
The statue was created by Raymond Graf in 2008 and was placed by the town of Corydon for its 200th year anniversary of becoming a town.
