Skamokawa Vista County Park is quite an open area by the Columbia River. There is easy access to the beach. There is a developed camping area close to the office, and a somewhat "looser" area comprising of some numbered lots and an open field, down by the river. The river area has a covered picnic area and bathrooms. Cost varies depending where you are. We chose a spot at the edge of the field by the river and only paid $18.
