Fifty seven-foot 7' high fiberglass sculptures were commissioned in 2012 by the Boston Symphony to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Tanglewood Music Theater. Each fabricated by the Chicago Fiberglass Works and was flamboyantly decorated by art students in Massachusetts high schools and colleges.
The sculptures have been sold as a fundraiser to the public and are now on display at various locations around the state. A beautifully decorated French horn was purchased by the Cork 'N' Hearth restaurant and put on display on a ridge, above Route 20, next to the sign for the restaurant.
A plaque at the platform that supports the sculpture is inscribed:
