A short connecting trail through the low lying forest at Metcalf Bottoms reaches the Little Greenbrier School (
Waymark WM7JV8) which is a one room schoolhouse from days before the GSMNP was created. Muddy at a couple spots; others in excellent condition thanks to being within the national park.
Did as a short loop hike by parking at the road from Wears Valley, then taking the gravel road over to the schoolhouse, then Metcalf Bottoms trail, and walks road back to car.
