This artistic neon light is a sign featuring a yellow quarter moon surrounded by three white stars. Beneath these space features (very appropriate given the location of the restaurant to the Kennedy Space Center) is the word "Moonlight" with a yellow arrow below pointing to the drive-in restaurant.
"Since 1964 the locals have been pulling into the Moonlight Drive In for juicy flame-broiled burgers and more. The clean, family-owned restaurant offers a tasty blast from the past.
The checkered building on old Rt. 1 offers curb-service or inside dining. Named for the Apollo moon shots from nearby Cape Canaveral in the 1960's, the Moon-Light Drive In has been owned by the same family since that era. It was featured in a nationwide publication, Where the Locals Eat, in 1996.
Feast on a wide variety of menu items: hot dogs, chili dogs, fried seafood baskets, burgers and more. There's a range of delicious dairy offerings: Soft serve ice cream, malted milk shakes, banana-splits, sundaes, and root beer floats.
You can expect prompt and friendly service when you pull up beneath the long canopy.
Try Raymond's signature Steak Sub, using flaked ribeye with onions, and peppers."
