What appears to be a web cam (not a weather station) along US Highway 191 south of Flaming Gorge NRA is powered by both wind and solar sources of alternative energy.

This apparatus, web cam or otherwise, seems to be monitoring the exit from a campground area east of the highway. There is a high-intensity LED directional illuminator pointed across the highway toward the campground area. A small wind turbine and a single photovoltaic panel combine to keep a battery charged
